The Demons we know {Open}

It was once thought that the earth was the center of the universe, that everything from the sun and stars to the gods them selves revolved around our little planet. Nothing was more important or more powerful then those few beings lived on this planets surface, They where human, they where power incarnate, they where gods them selves. They learned to not only adapt to their environment, they learned to adapt their environment to them. Humanity had learned to control the vary earth they lived on, if this didn't make them gods then what would?

So what then did that make those beings who fed off of humanity? Where they gods above gods glorifying in their own power? Or where they lowly parasites that abused their unique nature to take advantage of those who couldn't or wouldn't perceive them. Where they the monsters and demons that human cultures made them out to be? IT is true that people hate and fear what they cant understand, and nothing is harder to understand then what happens after death...But at the center of all myths and legends there is a kernell of truth..So maybe, just maybe they where in fact monsters.

Isaiah knew the truth of it, they where all monsters. Every single one of them. Angels with their noble intentions, the elves and their misguided ideals, the Deamons where the most pure of them all, they didn't hide what they where, they didn't try to fight what they wanted. It was sorta soothing to Isa in a rather odd way.

He walked the streets of this unfamiliar city with no particular destination in mind, hell he had just arrived in this odd little town not even a day before and he had already seen more then a few people he would just have loved...To get to know a little better. Sadly he didn't have the inclination nor the will to do so at that moment.

In fact all he wanted to do is get to know his new home, he would be living there for some months at the vary least. So he had hit the streets, book in hand and a fatherly smile on his face and nothing but simple exploration in his heart...But deep deep down he knew what he really wanted, he wanted to find someone of interest in this crowded city, he wanted to talk to them...Dance with them, he wanted to dream with them and in the end well...he wanted to play them. So with a wider smile he continued on his way.

In all actuality it was a rather pleasant day all things told, with birds chirping in the sky over head, the trees seemed to dance as a light warm spring breeze blew through the tree tops, and the people mingled, talking and laughing with one another. It was almost enough to make the professor laugh, they where god indeed, but even gods could respect the unknown.

'Ring... ring... ring...'

"Yaaaaaaaaaaaawwnnn..." Gerrard stretched his arms, reaching for the alarm clock and dropped his hand on top of it to stop the alarm. 5 minutes more... He mumbled to himself as he dozed off once again. Minutes and minutes and minutes had passed and he still was in bed. Laziness was the number 1 problem for him. After 2 hours, he got up. Stretching once again, he yawned. As he stepped his foot on the ground, his body kind of swayed unconsciously because he lost balance for a sec. Grabbing his towel, he headed straight for the showers. Minutes after, he stepped out of the shower with a towel wrapped around on the lower part of his body.

Continuing to his closet, he changed into his clothes. He wore his headphones over his head that was plugged on his phone. He listened to some rap as he fled to the other district. As he arrived, he saw a sign that said, "Welcome to Thoth District". Gerrard saw a lot of schools, museum, etc. around. He walked while he kept his head up looking at the buildings. After seconds of walk, he saw a tree nearby. He decided to climb up and relax on a branch. Laying down on a branch, he closed his eyes and was starting to fall asleep.

It had been a while since he last had the time to sit back and watch people pass him by....USually he latched onto the first succulent morsel that passed him by and started his game, But not today! Today was a special day, so he felt no need to rush about his daily affairs. He glanced around, letting his power take over...And sent waves of maddened lust into the minds of those near him. Some resisted the need to jump the nearest person, if only barely, but others well...Others started dry humping right in the middle of the street. He eased off a little and let there minds take stock of what they where about to do....It made him giggle to see the shocked expressions on all their faces...And he laughed out loud when he saw huge smiles on a few...People where so weak~~!

He walked away then humming a happy tune to him self and found that he had stumbled into what looked like a small glade in the middle of this urban settlement. Well how refreshing!! He let a small smile pass over his charming features and sat down under the shade of one of the trees. He should be doing something, anything important....But he just didn't have the will right then and there. With a heavy sigh he leaned back and close his eyes, dreaming of all the things he had done, and wanted to do. With a small chuckle he opened them...and to his astonishment saw a young male perched in the tree limbs above him....How....Fortunate for him!

Isa let his eyes sparkle, and he winked up at the prone figure and let his smile convey nothing but good will."Well it looks like im not the only one rest in the shade~~I guess its true what they say, geat minds think alike"who wanted to He didn't move from his spot and went back to looking over the crowed."Shouldn't you be in class hmmm? You look about right for high school~"

"Mama... mama... where are you.. papa.." a lone kid walked around the empty white space. Tears were falling down from his blue eyes as he looked around, searching for his parents. It has been a while since they saw them. They left him all alone. "MAMA, PAPA!" He cried. His cry became louder and louder as the white space seemed to have widened. There were no sign of them. Crying out loud... he was never giving up. Until a sound cannot come out from his mouth anymore. He suddenly became mute. This made him more hopeless. Still.. he was never going to give up. As he sat on the floor, crying, he saw a wealthy man walking towards him. The man reached for his hand. He was in doubt but he needed some help. As he came in contact with the hand, it all disappeared

A loud thump was heard as he fell from the tree sidewards. He rubbed his hips as he gritted his teeth. "Ouch ouch... that hurt.." Standing up, he looked around. He saw a man near him. He was a bit surprised because he didn't know that someone was watching him. "H-high school? Uhh, yeah but I didn't feel like going." He replied to the man. Wiping the dirt of his clothes, he scratched the back of his head.

Well the sudden fall from the tree almost made Isa burst out in laughter. This kid had been scared awak by the mere sound of his voice.....Life it seemed, was going out of its way to entertain him today!! He wasn't about to complain ohh no!! "Ouch ouch... that hurt.." Heh well that was an understatement, the guy had been lucky he hadn't cracked his skull or something. Which now that he though of it was a crying shame!! It would have been fun playing with his brain matter...But ohh well! There was always next time that was for sure!!"H-high school? Uhh, yeah but I didn't feel like going." Of course he didn't, kids for what ever reason never saw the importance of learning, it was one of those things he just couldn't understand, and he went out of his way to make sure they learned SOMETHING before he was done with them.

"Well today just isn't your lucky day, but if you come with me to the school...Well im sure we can let this little truancy issue be forgotten." He stands him self and offers the young man his hand."Names Isaiah gates, You can call me Professor Gates, and im a new teacher at the school." He flashed him a friendly smile and winked conspiratorially."What do you say my friend? Do we got our selves a deal?"

Hmm he had to wonder what sort of minds he would find and twist, what sort of people he would corrupt....It was all vary interesting, and no two schools where exactly alike so it was always a new experience when ever he started his work back up....Oddly few of his subjects had fallen so literally into his lap.....To day was going to be good!!

Gerrard looked around to see if a lot of people saw that. Hopefully, the man in front of him only saw what happened. He looked up to see what time it is and he was happy because the sun was up. "Yeah, well, uhh, I don't think so." He replied, wiping away the dust from his clothes. He fixed his hair and fixed his headphones that was placed around his neck. He doesn't really know the guy so it will be very weird going with him to school. He moved his headphones to place over his head and played a song from his phone. The guy then spoke. Only hearing a bit, he answered. "The name's Gerrard."

After checking his pockets, he looked at the man and said. "Well Prof. Apes, I need to head home now. Laters." He turned up the music and slowly walked away. He didn't really know who that guy was. It was weird for himself to be asked by a 'Professor' to go with him to school. He decided to leave him and head somewhere else.
